Laura Heit (she/they) is an interdisciplinary artist who works with drawing, glass, printmaking, video, animation, collage, light, and shadows to visualize the unseeable parts of our experience in relation to human emotions, climate-related catastrophic events, and speculative future spaces. Her multimedia installations draw on her background in experimental animation and puppetry to build site-specific realms that engage and interact with viewers in realtime. She is also a mother, educator, and neurodiverse. She lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
