After completing her undergraduate degree at Bard College in upstate New York, Emma moved to New York City, where she worked as a freelance dancer and had the opportunity to perform at Danspace Project, Movement Research, New York Live Arts, SLAM, Triskelion Arts, and Gibney Dance. She relocated to Portland, Oregon in 2021.
